We love hosting Chef2Farmer Open Days! We use this opportunity to showcase our farming practices, share our knowledge and passion for environmental regeneration and introduce you to our land, livestock & us, your farmers!
Bring your walking shoes as our animals are spread throughout rolling plains & forever moving throughout their pastures & natural forestry.
Free Open Days are held on the farm every 3 months and are suitable for families, fellow farmers, foodies, school and community groups.
Have you ever wanted to step into someone else's shoes for a day? Why not try on some work boots and get your hands dirty alongside Todd as he moves cattle, pigs and chickens through their daily pasture rotations. Jump in the buggy and drive over the hill for a bespoke tour of our property, while getting a behind the scenes look at our land management practises and learning first hand why we are so passionate about local clean food.
These tours make great gifts for those embarking upon own farming journeys, questioning where their food comes from, or simply wanting a wholesome day on the land. All ages and levels of knowledge and experience are welcome.
Break out of the classroom and come and learn about farming first hand. We can focus on areas that align with units of enquiry and curriculum focused on in class.
The tours run for 1.5 hours and are packed with hands on learning, plenty of time to ask questions and feed the animals all while learning what goes into producing clean food and where it actually comes from.
We love the affect nature has on the kids and we hope to inspire the next generation.
