Work with the Farmer Tour

This is a hands on experience! Become a farmer for the day!

Private tours with Farmer Todd, jump in the buggy for an adventure around the farm doing our ‘Daily jobs’

This includes collecting eggs from 550 pasture raised chickens, Feeding the 80 odd pigs and piglets

Moving the mob of cattle and help set the fences for the move, topping up feed for the meat chickens and feeding and patting the guardian Maremma dogs Bucko and Chrystal! And whatever farm work we may need to complete for the day!

All this while asking as many questions you can about regenerative farming, good local food (hes a chef too!) and enjoying the beautiful Hastings hinterland and mountain views of Cairncross!

Tours are available upon request and are usually run from 2pm-430pm (Maximum 2 guests)

Hat, sunscreen, proper closed in shoes, heaps of water and a raincoat!
Getting to the farm – A small drive on unsealed road and then parking in a paddock, please follow signage.
